I have met some very interesting people and also had my "eyes opened" about what people's lives are like in other countries. well from my experience..i preferred girls that do not work in a studio

Regarding why have more than one nick name let me give you just one example of how it is useful. I once had a vid with a host who like myself also participated frequently in the Community Chat Room. The vid experience for me was not a good one. So of course I did not wish to do another vid with this camhost. It was like having a bad date. However every time the host saw my name in the Community Chat room she would harass me publicly with comments about why I did not return to her vid. She would make comments like:
"Why do you not vid me? Am I ugly?"
"Are you vidding someone else?"
"You are a cheap bastard....why do you not vid me again."
She was relentless.
It was as if because I had one vid with her she owned me.
A very experienced host suggested to me that I have one name for use in the Community Chat Room and one for vidding. This was good advice. That way I can go to the Community Chat room and enjoy casual conversation without being the target of a jealous or possessive host. There are other reasons for members to have more than one name I am sure.

If you are going to do what Pete did, may I suggest that you don't use "ADifferentPete" as your alternate nickname.

this is so funny ! i had a few members who tried to come see me under different nicknames.. i knew it right away. Each of my members has a way of typing..they use certain words or expressions that are unique and i recognize them right away. Sometimes when you cant see someone on cam and they only write, it leaves you space to pay more attention to other things such as the way of someone is typing. if you pay close attention to how and what your members say you can see it ;) Also almost everyone has a very unique set of requests, even tho they think its common :))
